1. Introduction
Welcome to Rikonect. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Rikonect platform, including our website, applications, and services (collectively, the "Service").
The Service is operated by Rikonect Technologies Private Limited, a company registered in Pune, Maharashtra, India ("Rikonect," "we," "us," or "our").
By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:
- You are at least 13 years old
- You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
- You are not prohibited from using the Service under applicable laws
- If you are under 18, you have obtained parental or guardian consent
3. Account Registration
To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. When you create an account, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain and promptly update your account information
- Keep your login credentials secure and confidential
- Be responsible for all activities under your account
- Maintain only one account per person
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
4. Acceptable Use
You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. The Service is designed to help you:
- Record and reflect on personal memories and experiences
- Track your personal growth journey
- Connect with friends and build authentic relationships
- Participate in surveys and self-assessments
- Share content with others as you choose
5. Paid Services and Subscriptions
Rikonect offers paid subscription plans to access premium features and programs. By subscribing, you agree to the following terms:
Subscription Plans
- Monthly All-Access: Monthly subscription providing access to all programs and premium features, billed monthly
- Annual All-Access: Annual subscription at a discounted rate, providing access to all programs and premium features, billed annually
- Lifetime All-Access: One-time payment providing permanent access to all current and future programs and premium features
- Per-Program: Individual program purchase providing access to a specific program
Free Trial
We may offer free trial periods for certain subscription plans. Trial terms, duration, and conditions will be clearly displayed at the time of signup. At the end of the trial period, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.
Payment Processing
All payments are processed securely through Razorpay, a Reserve Bank of India (RBI) regulated payment gateway. We do not store your credit card or debit card details on our servers. Razorpay is PCI-DSS compliant and maintains robust security standards. For more information, please refer to Razorpay's terms and privacy policy.
Automatic Renewal
Monthly and annual subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. You will be charged the applicable subscription fee using the payment method on file. We will notify you before any price changes take effect.
Price Changes
We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing at any time. Price changes will not affect your current billing period. For existing subscribers, we will provide at least 30 days' notice before any price increase takes effect. Continued use of paid services after notice constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at billing@rikonect.com. Upon cancellation:
- Your access to paid features will continue until the end of your current billing period
- No further charges will be made to your payment method
- Your account will revert to free tier access after the billing period ends
Currency
All prices are displayed and charged in Indian Rupees (INR). Currency conversion fees, if applicable, are determined by your bank or payment provider.
6. Refund Policy
We want you to feel confident trying Rikonect. We offer a simple, no-questions-asked refund policy to build trust with our users.
14-Day Money-Back Guarantee
If you're not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you can request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase. This applies to all subscription types:
- Monthly subscriptions
- Annual subscriptions
- Lifetime purchases
- Per-program purchases
One Refund Per Customer
To prevent abuse of our refund policy, each customer is eligible for one refund only. If you have previously received a refund from Rikonect, subsequent purchases are not eligible for refund.
Abuse Prevention
Refunds are not available if you have completed an entire program before requesting a refund. We reserve the right to deny refund requests that appear to abuse this policy.
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, simply email billing@rikonect.com with your account email address and order ID. No explanation required.
Processing Time
Refunds are typically processed within 5-7 business days. The actual credit to your account may take additional time depending on your bank or payment provider.
Refund Method
Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase through Razorpay. We cannot issue refunds to alternate payment methods or accounts.
7. Digital Wellness Programs
Rikonect offers digital wellness programs, including the Attention Reclaim Program and similar programs designed to help you improve your relationship with technology and develop healthier digital habits.
Program Description
Our digital wellness programs provide structured guidance, assessments, and daily activities to help you understand and improve your digital habits. Programs include educational content, personalized recommendations, and progress tracking features.
Assessment Participation
By participating in program assessments, you understand and agree that:
- Assessments measure your digital wellness across multiple dimensions based on your self-reported responses
- Assessment results are used to personalize guidance and recommendations within the program
- Assessment results are not clinical diagnoses or medical evaluations
- Your honest participation produces the most accurate and useful results
Daily Check-ins and Progress Tracking
Programs may include daily check-ins and progress tracking features:
- Daily actions and check-ins are voluntary but recommended for best results
- Progress is tracked through metrics such as streaks, completion rates, and mastery achievements
- Check-in data is used to provide personalized insights and adjust program recommendations
Program Content
Program content includes educational materials, practical exercises, and personalized recommendations. We reserve the right to:
- Update, modify, or improve program content at any time
- Add new features or remove existing features from programs
- Adjust program structure based on user feedback and research
Reassessment
You may retake assessments periodically to measure your progress and update your personalized recommendations. Historical assessment data is retained to show your improvement over time.
Important Disclaimer
Digital wellness programs are for general wellness and educational purposes only. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical or mental health condition. Programs do not constitute medical advice, therapy, or professional counseling. If you have concerns about your mental health, addiction, or any medical condition, please consult a qualified healthcare professional.
8. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:
- Illegal Content: Posting or sharing any content that violates applicable laws or regulations
- Harassment: Bullying, threatening, intimidating, or harassing other users
- Spam: Sending unsolicited messages, advertisements, or promotional content
- Impersonation: Falsely representing yourself as another person or entity
- Malware: Uploading viruses, malware, or other harmful code
- Unauthorized Access: Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
- Data Scraping: Using automated means to collect data from the Service without permission
- Interference: Interfering with or disrupting the integrity or performance of the Service
9. User Content
You retain ownership of any content you create, upload, or share through the Service ("User Content"). By posting User Content, you grant Rikonect a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, display, and distribute your User Content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service.
You are solely responsible for your User Content and represent that:
- You own or have the necessary rights to share the content
- Your content does not violate any third-party rights
- Your content complies with these Terms and applicable laws
10. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Rikonect Technologies Private Limited. This includes:
- The Rikonect name, logo, and branding
- Software, code, and technical infrastructure
- Design elements, graphics, and user interface
- Documentation and other materials
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Service or included software without our prior written consent.
11. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.
12. Third-Party Links and Content
The Service may contain links to third-party websites, services, or content that are not owned or controlled by Rikonect. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for:
- The content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services
- Any damage or loss caused by your use of or reliance on third-party content
- The availability or accuracy of external websites or resources
We strongly advise you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of any third-party websites or services that you visit. Your interactions with third-party services are solely between you and the third party.
13. Feedback and Submissions
If you provide us with any feedback, suggestions, ideas, or other submissions regarding the Service ("Feedback"), you agree that:
- We may use, modify, and incorporate your Feedback without any obligation to compensate you
- Your Feedback does not contain confidential or proprietary information
- We are not obligated to use your Feedback or keep it confidential
- You waive any claims related to our use of your Feedback
This does not affect your rights over User Content that you create within the Service, which remains governed by Section 9 above.
14. Electronic Communications
By using the Service, you consent to receive electronic communications from us, including:
- Service-related emails (account verification, magic links, security alerts)
- Updates about changes to our Terms or Privacy Policy
- Important announcements about the Service
You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures, and other communications we provide electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing. Electronic signatures and records shall have the same legal effect as physical signatures and written records.
15. Service Modifications and Interruptions
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice. This includes the right to:

- Perform maintenance, updates, or repairs
- Temporarily or permanently discontinue the Service
- Impose limits on certain features or restrict access
We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service. We do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times or without interruption.
16. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.
You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at legal@rikonect.com. Upon termination:
- Your right to use the Service will immediately cease
- We may delete your account and User Content
- Any licenses granted to you will terminate
Survival: The following sections shall survive termination: Paid Services (Section 5), Refund Policy (Section 6), User Content (Section 9), Intellectual Property (Section 10), Disclaimers (Section 17), Limitation of Liability (Section 18), Indemnification (Section 19), Dispute Resolution (Section 20), and Governing Law (Section 21).
17. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rikonect disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to:
- Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
- That the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
- That the results obtained from using the Service will be accurate or reliable
- That the quality of the Service will meet your expectations
- That any errors or defects in the Service will be corrected
Data Disclaimer: While we implement measures to protect your data, we do not guarantee the preservation, accuracy, or security of your User Content. You are solely responsible for maintaining backup copies of any data you consider important.
18. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RIKONECT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY:
- Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities
- Loss of reputation or anticipated savings
- Damages arising from user-generated content
- Damages arising from third-party websites, services, or links
- Damages arising from data loss, corruption, or security breaches
- Damages arising from service interruptions, downtime, or unavailability
- Damages arising from unauthorized access to your account
- Any other damages, however caused and regardless of theory of liability
These limitations apply even if Rikonect has been advised of the possibility of such damages or if a remedy fails of its essential purpose.
Liability Cap: In no event shall our total aggregate liability exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months prior to the claim, or (b) INR 1,000 (Indian Rupees One Thousand).
19. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Rikonect Technologies Private Limited, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including attorney's fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights; (d) your User Content; or (e) your violation of applicable laws or regulations.
20. Dispute Resolution
Informal Resolution: Before filing any formal claim, you agree to first contact us at legal@rikonect.com to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will try to resolve the matter within 30 days.
Binding Arbitration: If informal resolution fails, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The arbitration shall be:
- Conducted by a sole arbitrator mutually appointed by the parties
- Held in Pune, Maharashtra, India
- Conducted in English
- Final and binding on all parties
Class Action Waiver: You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not as a class, consolidated, or representative action.
Time Limitation: Any claim or cause of action arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service must be filed within one (1) year after such claim or cause of action arose, or it shall be forever barred.
21. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including but not limited to:
- The Information Technology Act, 2000
- The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023
- The Indian Contract Act, 1872
- The Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (where applicable)
Subject to the arbitration provisions above, any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
22. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction:
- Such provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable
- If modification is not possible, the provision shall be severed from these Terms
- The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect
- The invalidity of one provision shall not affect the validity of any other provision
No waiver of any term shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or any other term. Our failure to enforce any provision shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
23. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. When we make changes:
- We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
- For material changes, we will notify you through the Service or via email
- We may provide a summary of key changes
Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you should discontinue use of the Service.
24. Grievance Redressal
In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made thereunder, the Grievance Officer for addressing user complaints and concerns is:
